San Leandro Police Make Arrest in Weekend Shooting: 
On November 20th, at about 10:20 pm, officers were sent to investigate the report of a shooting at the Coyote Bar, 2089 Doolittle Drive. Officers arrived on the scene and learned the suspect, in this case, a 23-year-old male from Oakland, was involved in an altercation at this bar. The suspect, at one point during the altercation, produced a firearm and shot the victim at least once. The victim was struck by the gunfire, transported to an area hospital, and has since been released.
On November 21st, about 9:00 pm, after a day of negotiations with a member of our Hostage Negotiations Team, the suspect self-surrendered to the San Leandro Police Department. He was arrested without incident.
