7:13 – 8:56 AM: Officers investigated eight auto burglaries, consisting mainly of window smashed with minimal loss.
8:56 AM: Officer Rivera was dispatched to a report of a firearm that was found in the 39000 block of Cedar Blvd.
11:58 PM: Officers responded to a report of a subject sleeping in an unrented room in the 39000 block of Balentine Dr. Officer Soto made contact and arrested a 42-year old male out of Fremont for defrauding an innkeeper and trespassing. He was cited and released.

3:17 AM: Officers responded to a report of two subjects sleeping in an unrented room in the 39000 block of Balentine Dr. Officers made contact and arrested a 46-year old female out of Union City and a 53-year old male out of Fremont for defrauding an innkeeper and trespassing. They were cited and released.
10:20 AM: Officer Warren recovered a stolen vehicle in the area of Robertson Ave and Cherry St. While investigating, he made contact and arrested a 42-year old male out of Redwood City for an outstanding warrant. He was issued a new court date and released.
2:44 PM: Officer Kapu responded to a report of a theft that had just occurred in the 35000 block of Newark Blvd. Officer Kapu made contact and arrested 29-year old male for shoplifting.
9:20 PM: Officers made contact and arrested a 32-year old male out of Newark in the 37000 block of Ash St for an outstanding warrant. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

10:40 AM: Officer Damewood made contact and arrested a 28-year old female out of Palo Alto for two outstanding warrants in the area of Cedar Blvd and Mowry Ave. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
1:34 PM: Officer Johnson made contact and arrested a 45-year old male out of Fremont for an outstanding warrant in the 2000 block of Newpark Mall Rd. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
2:45 PM: Officer Damewood responded to a theft in the 5000 block of Thornton Ave. Officer Damewood located and arrested  a 43-year old male out of Oakland for two outstanding warrants and possession of stolen property. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

2:51 AM: Officers responded to assist an outside agency with a wanted subject in the 5000 block of Cedar Ct. Officers searched the area but the subject fled prior to officer arrival.
5:33 PM: Officer Torres responded to a report of a shoplifter in custody in the 200 block of Newpark Mall Rd. Officer Torres accepted the Citizen’s Arrest of a juvenile. The subject was cited and released to his family.

7:25 – 10:40 AM:  Officer Quinonez investigated two burglaries to vehicles that occurred overnight in the 37000 block of Cherry St and the 7000 block of Hazelnut Dr respectively.
8:47 PM: Officer Herrera located a subject unconscious in a vehicle in the 38000 block of Larkspur St. Officer Herrera made contact and arrested a 24-year old female out of Union City for being too inebriated to care for herself or others. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

4:58 AM: Officers responded to a report of vandalism and theft that occurred in the 5000 block of Jarvis Ave. Officer Swadener made contact and arrested a 27-year old male for petty theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

7:22 AM: Officer Quinonez investigated two stolen vehicles from the 39000 block of Sawyer Terr.
8:50 AM: Officer Jackman investigated a burglary to a vehicle that occurred overnight in the 6000 block of Joaquin Murieta Ave. Loss was medical bag, headphones, money and CDs.
10:07 AM: Officer Rivera investigated a burglary to a vehicle that occurred within the last two days in the 3000 block of Bettencourt St.
1:03 PM: Officer Quinonez recovered stolen vehicle in the 6000 block of Central Ave.
1:56 PM: Officer Jackman investigated a cold theft from an unlocked vehicle in the 5000 block of Jarvis Ave. Loss was checks.
2:07 PM: Officer Rivera investigated a vehicle theft in the 35000 block of Fircrest Ave.
2:15 PM: Officer Pacheco investigated a theft of a battery from a trailer’s utility box in the 35000 block of Fircrest Ave.

11:50 AM: Officers responded to an in-progress assault with a deadly weapon involving two male subjects armed with metal pipes in the area of Cedar Ct and Cedar Blvd. Upon arrival, officers contacted both subjects. Officers ultimately arrested a 41-year old male for assault with a deadly weapon that’s not a firearm. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

9:04 AM: Officer Damewood responded to a report of a disturbance in the 39000 block of Cedar Blvd. Officer Damewood made contact and arrested a 37-year old male out of Hayward for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was cited and released.
8:30 PM: Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 200 block of Newpark Mall Rd. Subjects fled prior to officer arrival.

7:37 AM: Officer Damewood made a traffic stop in the area of Cedar Blvd and Birch St. Officer Damewood made contact and arrested a 46-year old female out of Antioch for possession of personal identification with the intent to defraud, possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
8:24 AM: Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 35000 block of Newark Blvd. Officers made contact and arrested a 31-year old male for 6 outstanding warrants and a 42-year old female for two outstanding warrants. They were both booked at Santa Rita Jail.
 
Friday, November 12, 2021
7:37 AM: In the 5000 block of Cedar Ct. Officer Damewood made contact and arrested a 41-year old female out of Oakland and a 39-year old male out of Hayward for possession of a controlled substance while armed with a loaded firearm, felon in possession of a firearm, prohibited person in possession of ammunition and possession of a controlled substance for sale. Both were booked at Santa Rita Jail.
7:07 PM: Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter in custody in the 200 block of Newpark Mall Rd. Officer Swadener responded and accepted the Citizen’s Arrest of a 34-year old female for petty theft and battery on a person. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

9:36 AM: Officers responded to a report of a car jacking that had just occurred in the 5000 block of Jarvis Ave. On November 17, 2021 the vehicle was recovered. Incident is still under investigation.
10:17 PM: Officers responded to a report of a vehicle that drove through a closed gate in the 37000 block of Cherry St. Upon arrival officers located a 32-year old female out of Richmond in the drivers seat of the reported vehicle. The subject was ultimately arrested for DUI. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

11:30 AM: Officer Jackman investigated a theft that occurred overnight in the 8000 block of Cabot Ct. Loss was approximately $5,000 worth of aluminum plates and copper wire.
12:19 PM: Officer Quinonez investigated the theft of power tools in the 5000 block of Thornton Ave.
12:23 PM: Officer Rivera investigated a report of a stolen license plate that occurred sometime within the past week in the 35000 block of Lido Blvd.
3:06 PM: Officer Quinonez investigated a theft from an unlocked vehicle in the 37000 block of Mast Cove Way that occurred overnight. Loss was a wallet.
3:35 PM: Officer Rivera investigated the theft of a wallet from a business in the 200 block of Newpark Mall rd.
3:55 PM:  Officer Jackman investigated the theft of a catalytic converter in the 36000 block of Cherry St that occurred within the past 2 days.
10:49 PM: Officer Torres made contact and arrested a 47-year old male in the 5000 block of Thornton Ave for outstanding warrants, identity theft materials, and fictious checks. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

2:43 AM: Officers made contact and arrested a 28-year old male out of Newark for DUI.
6:08 AM: Officers were dispatched to a report of a hit and run in the area of Wells Ave and Locust Dr. Officers located the suspect vehicle unoccupied nearby with drug paraphernalia and a catalytic converter inside. Incident is still under investigation.
9:10 AM: Officer Quinonez investigated a report of a vehicle theft in the 6000 block of Peppertree Ct. The vehicle was located unoccupied a short distance away. While on scene a different vehicle nearby was broken into and mail was strew about the street. The two incidents appeared to be related.
9:42 AM:  Traffic Officer Piquette investigated a hit and run collision in the 5000 block of Thornton Ave.
10:27 AM: K-9 Officer Pacheco investigated a vehicle theft that occurred overnight in the 37000 block of Spruce St.
8:50 PM: Officers investigated the forced entry into a building in the 35000 block of Newark Blvd. Loss was copper pipe and wire from the walls.
11:06 PM: Officers located a 37-year old male out of Newark in the area of Wells Ave and Ash St wanted for felony vandalism. As officers attempted to make contact the subject fled on foot. Officers gave chase and ultimately arresting the subject without further incident. The subject was arrested for felony vandalism and obstructing a peace officer. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
