One Injured In Crash 
Sheriff Richard J Behnke reports that on 11/22/2021 at 2302 hrs. his office responded to the area of Pokagon Highway and Anderson Rd. in Pokagon Township for the report of a single vehicle crash.
Christopher Combs, 43 years old from Buchanan Michigan, swerved to avoid dear in the roadway, lost control and causing his vehicle to overturn and land on its roof. Mr. Combs was taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the crash. A seat belt was worn by Mr. Combs.
Assisting on scene were Pokagon Township fire, SMCAS, and Michigan State Police. The crash remains under investigation.
