Credit Union Robbery 
On November 23, 2021 at 9:24 a.m. the Rock County 911 Center received a report of a robbery from the First Community Credit union at 2701 N. Pontiac Dr. The suspect entered the credit union and presented a note to the teller demanding money and threatening to be in possession of a gun. No weapon was displayed. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled on foot in a southerly direction. Janesville officers, with the assistance of a K9 from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, tracked the suspect but he was unable to be located. The Janesville Police Detective Bureau is continuing to investigate.
