11/15/2021 @ 0024. A man attempted to hit the victim with his vehicle while driving away from the scene of an accident. The victim was trying to exchange information with the suspect when the incident occurred. #05059

Aggravated Assault – Knife (Suspect Arrested)
7800 block Santa Monica Blvd
11/15/2021 @ 1914. A man was walking on the sidewalk when he was punched in the face without provocation by the suspect. The victim fell to the ground and the suspect got on top of the victim and continued punching him. The suspect then pulled a sharp metal object from his pocket and stabbed the victim several times in the face and neck area. The suspect was arrested on 11/21/2021. #05079

11/15/2021 @ 0100-0200. A man was walking on the sidewalk while looking at his phone when he was punched in the face without provocation by the suspect. The victim suffered a broken jaw. #05113

11/15/2021 @ 1630. An unknown suspect removed two cell phones from a table after they were left momentarily unattended by the victim. #05078

11/15/2021 @ 1730-0630. An unknown suspect removed four credit cards and three gift cards from the interior. No sign of forced entry. #05084

11/16/2021 @ 2300-0825. An unknown suspect used a key that was hidden under a planter to gain access and removed an autographed photo from the living room wall. #05105
Strong Arm Robbery (Estes)
1200 block N La Brea Avenue
11/16/2021 @ 0925. A man removed several food and drink items from a display area and left the store without payment. When confronted outside the store by store security, a struggle ensued and security was able to retake possession of the stolen items. #05086

8600 block Melrose Avenue
11/16/2021 @ 1645-1800. An unknown suspect smashed the trunk window and removed a duffle bag containing a laptop computer, shoes, and clothing from the trunk. #05117

11/17/2021 @ 2156-0101. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing two keys and a GPS tracker from the front seat. #05125

11/18/2021 @ 1930. A man pulled a laptop computer, IPad, and cell phone from the victim’s grasp and fled the area with the property. #05136
Armed Robbery (Suspect Arrested)
8600 block Santa Monica Blvd
11/18/2021 @ 2038. A man removed a bag of chips and attempted to leave the store without payment. When confronted by an employee, the suspect pulled a box cutter knife from his pocket and chased the victim to the back of the store. The suspect was arrested while committing another crime. #05140

11/18/2021 @ 2156. A woman was standing on the sidewalk when a man approached and demanded her money. The victim screamed and the suspect fled the area on a scooter. The suspect was located and arrested by responding deputies. #05142 (related to #05140, #05144)

11/18/2021 @ 2117. A man broke three door handles in an attempt to gain entry but was unsuccessful. The suspect was arrested while committing an unrelated robbery. #05144

Aggravated Assault - Other Weapon (Suspect Arrested)
8900 block Melrose Avenue
11/19/2021 @ 1336. A man sat down on a couch inside the store and fell asleep. LA County Fire attempted to wake the suspect up and he became combative. The suspect threw a glass bottle full of liquid at the victim but the victim was able to step aside and avoid being hit. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #80046

11/19/2021 @ 2025. A man walked behind the store counter and pointed a handgun at an employee. The suspect demanded all the money from the cash register and the victim complied. #05159

11/20/2021 @ 1630-1700. An unknown suspect removed an electric scooter and a cell phone that were left momentarily unattended on the sidewalk. #05176
November 21st

11/21/2021 @ 0142. A man was parked in the driveway of his apartment building when two men approached him while armed with a handgun and demanded his property and he complied. #05184
