This is a message from the Matawan Police Department and the Office of Emergency Management:

Tomorrow, Saturday, November 27th, the Matawan Borough Recreation Commission will hold its 15th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run and Fitness Walk.  For the safety of the participants, the following roads will be closed from about 7:30 am until the conclusion of the event at approximately 10:30 am.

Main Street from Station Plaza to Route 34,
Ravine Dr. from Main Street to Union Street,
Union Street from Ravine Dr. to Aberdeen Rd.,
Aberdeen Rd. from Union Street to Main Street,

To accommodate this event and minimize inconvenience, anyone travelling within the affected areas, please plan your travel with these road closures in mind.  Thank you for your cooperation and have a happy and safe holiday season.
