Mark Lee White Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography

SUSPECT(S): Mark Lee White, 62-years-old, resident of Joshua Tree
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Crimes Against Children Detail (CAC) and Sheriff’s Hi-Tech Division, began an investigation into the downloading, possession and distribution of child pornography. Through investigation, it was determined the child pornography was distributed from a home in Joshua Tree.
On Tuesday, November 23, 2021, personnel from CAC, Hi-Tech Crime Detail and Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station, served a search warrant at a residence in 61600 block of El Cajon Road, Joshua Tree. Investigators determined White was responsible for the distribution of child pornography. At the conclusion of the investigation, White was arrested for the distribution and possession of child pornography. White was subsequently booked into Central Detention Center.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is a member of the Los Angeles Regional Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, which works cooperatively with a vast network of local, state, and federal law enforcement partners to pursue those who violate crimes of child exploitation.
