An unexpected wind storm brought down multiple trees throughout town affecting power.
If you have a vessel in the harbor please check and ensure lines are secure. Check on elders and those who may need additional support while we work to restore utilities. We are still assessing the severity of the damage and are working to restore power as soon as possible.
If you need to access the clinic or hospital please use Pine Street (across from the Legion Hall) as there is a hazard tree impeding Wood Street (main hospital road).
