Subject: Attempted Homicide by Motor Vehicle
On Thursday, November 2, 2021 at around 5:05 PM the Sun Prairie Police Department responded to a disturbance in the area of O’Keffee Avenue and McCoy Road in the City of Sun Prairie. A male and female were in a verbal disturbance. The male attempted to walk away from the female. Alicia Walker (35 YO – From Sun Prairie), the female, then struck the male and a two year old child with her vehicle. Both the male and two year old child were walking in a commercial parking lot. This caused injury to both the male and child. Both the male and two year old child were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Walker was arrested and taken to the Dane County Jail on two counts of attempted reckless homicide and one count of injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle. The Sun Prairie Police Department was assisted in the investigation by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office. There is no additional information to release about this incident at this time.
