Officers conducted a search of GARZA’s apartment where a cannister containing approximately four (4) ounces of suspected Methamphetamine, two (2) ounces of suspected Cocaine, and more than 100 grams of imitation oxycodone tablets was discovered. These tablets are believed to actually be pressed Fentanyl tablets and are awaiting confirmation from the Idaho State Forensic Laboratory. In addition to the large quantities of illicit substances recovered, officers also recovered a stolen firearm and a large quantity of United States Currency.
GARZA was arrested for one (1) count felony Drug Trafficking, one (1) county felony Drug Trafficking in Cocaine, one (1) count felony Grand Theft, one (1) count Unlawful Possession of Firearm, one (1) count misdemeanor Drug Paraphernalia- Use or Possess with Intent to Use, one (1) count misdemeanor Resisting or Obstructing Officers, and one (1) count misdemeanor Failure to Appear for Misdemeanor Citation. He was transported and booked at the Ada County Jail.

Meridian Police Arrest Man on Multiple Drug Related Charges
MERIDIAN- On December 2, 2021 officers with the Meridian Police Department responded to the 4000 block of Perugia Dr. to assist probation officers with the Idaho Department of Corrections with a parole search after detained suspect Gilbert GARZA JR (27) of Meridian, fled the scene on foot.
