11/22/2021 @ 1600-0600. An unknown suspect removed the catalytic converter from a 2007 Honda CRV that was parked in an unsecured parking garage. #80046

11/22/2021 @ 0640. Two men removed three patio umbrellas from the courtyard. #05205

8600 block Rugby Drive
11/22/2021 @ 1700-0950. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a purse from the back seat. #80049

11/23/2021 @ 1115. A man forced a door open to gain entry and removed his child from the residence during a custody dispute. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #80055

Aggravated Assault - Other Weapon (Suspect Arrested)
8900 block Santa Monica Blvd
11/24/2021 @ 1820. A woman was waiting at the bus stop when a man approached her while holding a pair of scissors in his hands. The suspect began yelling and making incoherent statements to the victim and then raised the scissors above his head and made stabbing motions towards the victim.  The suspect was located and arrested by responding deputies. #05214

11/24/2021 @ 2015-1330. An unknown suspect ransacked the interior and removed a camera lens from the rear floorboard and two pairs of glasses from the front dashboard of the unlocked vehicle. #05220

11/27/2021 @ 1500. A man pointed a replica handgun at his neighbor and told him to stay away from his property. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #05242

11/27/2021 @ 1700-1330. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and ransacked the interior but did not take anything. #05257

11/28/2021 @ 0950. A man threw a metal chair at the victim during an argument that took place in the courtyard area. #05252

11/28/2021 @ 1057. A woman hit the victim several times in the face with a cooking pot during an argument that took place inside the residence. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #05253

1200 block Sweetzer Avenue
11/28/2021 @ 1130. A man was inside his residence when he noticed the suspect looking inside his window. The victim told the suspect to leave but he refused and punched the victim’s window and caused it to shatter. When confronted outside the residence, the suspect swung a broom handle at the victim and ran from the area. The suspect was located and arrested by responding deputies. #05255

11/28/2021 @ 0200. Two men were walking in the parking lot when two men approached them while armed with a handgun and demanded their wallets and watch. A short struggle ensued and both suspects ran to a nearby car and fled the area. No loss. #05248 
 
 
Strong Arm Robbery
7500 block Santa Monica Blvd
11/28/2021 @ 0600. A man was standing on the sidewalk when the suspect approached him and asked for money and he refused. While the victim was using his cell phone, the suspect pulled the cell phone from the victim’s grasp and ran away. #05250
 
Armed Robbery (Estes) (Suspect Arrested)
1100 block N La Brea Avenue
11/28/2021 @ 1218. A man removed 14 bottles of soap and body wash and attempted to leave the store without payment. When confronted by an employee, the suspect pulled a knife from his pocket and threatened the victim. The suspect was allowed to leave and was located and arrested by responding deputies. The stolen items were not found. #05256
