Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult. The incident was reported Monday, December 6, 2021, at approximately 3:00 p.m., near the 2100 block of E. 85th St., in the unincorporated area of Los Angeles.
Homicide investigators learned that deputies assigned to Century Sheriff Station responded to the indicated location regarding a gunshot victim call. Upon their arrival they located the victim, a male Hispanic adult, in his early 40’s, suffering from several gunshot wounds to the upper torso.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and was later pronounced deceased.
There is no motive, suspect information, or any additional information available at this time.
