INCIDENT: Homicide Investigation
LOCATION: 14700 block of 7th Street, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Unknown
VICTIM(S): 39-year-old male, resident of Hesperia (Name withheld pending notification of next of kin.)
SUMMARY: On Monday, December 6, 2021, at approximately 9:01 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to Star Liquor Market for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, deputies found a 39-year-old male in a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite lifesaving measures, the victim was pronounced deceased at a local hospital. The suspect fled prior to deputies arriving and is still outstanding.
Detectives with Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail, responded to the scene and are conducting the investigation.
