The following is a synopsis of crimes reported for the week of November 28, 2021 - December 04, 2021. 

November 28, 2021
Burglary (Residential): 
800 block of Beckville Street. Between 11/28/21 9:00 pm and 11/29/21 6:00 am Suspect(s) unknown entered the location by forcing open a window screen and entering through the unlocked window.  Suspect(s) unknown stole a cat that the victim had rescued. No other items appeared to have been stolen. No surveillance video.
 
November 29, 2021
Petty Theft (Shoplifting): 
2315 Huntington Drive (CVS). The store manager was monitoring store surveillance video on 11/29/21 at 9:10 pm when she observed a male adult wearing a black jacket, black pants and a blue mask enter the location and immediately began clearing a large amount of store merchandise from the shelves and place them into a bag. The employee approached the suspect as he continued to place items into his bag. The suspect proceeded to exit the location without attempting to purchase the items. The suspect fled the location in a dark gray Nissan Sentra with a Florida license plate of QMZE32 registered to Hertz rent a car company. Loss was approximately $711 in merchandise. Video surveillance available.   
 
November 30, 2021
Grand theft: 
2400 block of Maynard Drive. Suspect(s) unknown entered the open/unlocked trunk to the victims white KIA Optima and stole approximately $4,850 in movie set equipment and hair and makeup supplies. No video Surveillance available.
 
December 01, 2021
Robbery (strong arm): 
2229 Huntington Drive (Redwood Pizza and Wings). The victim on 11/01/21 at 10:11 pm exited the location and was contacted by the wife of an ex-coworker, a female Hispanic adult wearing a white shirt. The ex-coworkers wife immediately grabbed the victims’ phone by force, and a struggle ensued. The suspect was able to take the phone away and began to run through the parking lot, where she entered the driver’s seat of a white Nissan with the License plate of 7SKY303. The suspect fled the scene and was last seen entering the 210 freeway.  
 
December 02, 2021

December 03, 2021
Robbery (strong arm): 
2000 block of Mountain Avenue. On 12/03/21 at 10:00 pm the victim arrived home with her children, when she was contacted by her ex-husband.  The ex-husband began to ask her where she had been and she told her kids “Don’t tell him anything”. The ex-husband became angry and grabbed the strap of her purse and forcibly pulled the purse away from her. The suspect fled the area with the victims’ purse.
