Winter Weather Advisory until 06:00PM Tuesday

* WHAT...Snow occurring. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches.

* WHERE...Matanuska Valley.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM AKST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will continue to fall through the late afternoon hours, with the heaviest snow expected east of the Parks Highway. The combination of snow and gusty southerly winds could cause areas of drifting and blowing snow which could reduce visibilities at times. The snow will taper to snow showers later this evening.

* AFFECTED AREAS: MATANUSKA VALLEY
