The Jackson Police Department is investigating a hit and run accident that occurred around 8:50pm at the intersection of Forest Avenue at Prospect Avenue.
A child, age 4-6 years old, was struck by a vehicle and police need assistance identifying the parents or guardian of this child.
A dark colored Chevy SUV is described as the suspect vehicle.
