Confirmed rabies case in Sonora Texas 
Monday around 5 pm Animal Control was dispatched to Stadium Trailer Park for a skunk not acting normal. We were informed by the state testing lab today that the skunk was positive for rabies. It is important that you make sure no food is left out after dark. Please make sure your pets are current on their rabies vaccine. Per city ordinance, they need to be vaccinated ever year for rabies. It is also against city ordinance to feed stray animals.
