High Wind Advisory

DTE posted a storm alert on their website today advising customers that they anticipate high winds on Saturday, which may cause potential outages in Southeast Michigan. Their crews are ready to act quickly and safely to restore power as soon as possible and they have called in additional support from outside our area to speed the work. Please be safe and remember to stay at least 20 feet from any downed power lines and assume they are live and dangerous. Report any downed lines or outages online at www.outage.dteenergy.com

The Harper Woods Department of Public Works is also ready to act quickly and respond to any reports of downed trees impacting the safety of residents on roadways or in neighborhoods.

Refer to the following link for more information of what is possible if the winds impact our area.
