Incident Summary
On December 11
th, 2021, at 12:12 AM, Officer Dickerson attempted to stop a vehicle for a redlight violation. Officer Dickerson activated his patrol vehicles emergency equipment to initiate a traffic enforcement stop and the driver, later identified as Luis Tony Morales, accelerated at a high rate of speed. Morales proceeded to turn down a street with no outlet and subsequently pulled over. During the investigation Morales was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol and was also in possession of narcotics with the intent to sell.
Morales was charged with evading a police officer, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell and driving under the influence while under the age of 21 years old. Morales was later booked at the Sonoma County Jail.
