* WHAT...For the High Wind Warning, southwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts to around 60 mph. For the Wind Advisory, west winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
* WHERE...Portions of southwest and west central Michigan.
* WHEN...For the High Wind Warning, until 10 AM EST this morning. For the Wind Advisory, from 10 AM this morning to 7 PM EST this evening.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The passage of a strong cold front this morning will bring sudden wind gusts of around 60 mph out of the southwest. Gusts later this morning and this afternoon will be around 50 mph from the northwest.
* AFFECTED AREAS: MUSKEGON ... OTTAWA ... KENT ... ALLEGAN ... BARRY ... VAN BUREN ... KALAMAZOO
