Warrant Arrest
On Friday, December 10, 2021 at approximately 2207 hours, the Readington Township Police observed a vehicle parked on the shoulder of Route 22 without the headlights or tailights activated. The officer stopped to check on driver who was later identified as Amjad H. Abujudeh (42) out of Montclair, NJ. While speaking to the driver he learned the vehicle had fictitious plates and the driver had a $500.00 traffic warrant out of Bridgewater, NJ. Abujedeh was arrested on the warrant and issued a motor vehicle summons for Parking on Highway Removing Disabled Vehicle, Fictitious Plates and Driving While Suspended. The filing of charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
