Avoid Downed Power Lines, Drive with Caution 
High winds in the area have resulted in downed power lines and trees in the community as well as some traffic signal outages.
Community members are reminded to stay clear of downed power lines (at least 35 feet away) and report them by calling (517) 351-4220 Option 2. Downed power lines and power outages can also be reported to utility companies.
Motorists are advised to avoid Hagadorn Road, between Mount Hope and Grand River. The road is not accessible due to wires down. Other roads in the community may also not be accessible due to wires/trees down. Please avoid those areas and treat all traffic signals that are out as four-way stops. East Lansing Department of Public Works crews are out clearing downed trees in the roadway.
