In preparation for tomorrow's weather forecast of heavy rain, Chula Vista residents can obtain up to ten free sandbags today until 3:30 p.m. at the Public Works facility located at 1800 Maxwell Road. Proof of residency is required. Follow the signs to the sandbag distribution area.

Reminder to all drivers: if your windshield wipers are on, it is the law that your headlights also must be on. Be careful when driving through large puddles and potential flooded areas. 

And turn off those sprinklers as they will not be needed for the next several days!
