Message from LASD Temple Station - Heavy Rain for the Foothills of the San Gabriel Valley
Be alert! Be informed! A powerful #LARain storm is on its way to Southern California and the burned land surfaces or burn scars caused by the #BobcatFire are particularly at risk from debris flow and flooding.
For residents in the valley, have a plan and be prepared for flooded streets and wet roadways.
Remember to add extra time to your commute, slow down and turn on your headlights and windshield wipers. Travel safe and create extra space between you and the vehicle ahead of you!
**Visit Ready LA County for more helpful tips: https://ready.lacounty.gov/
Don’t Forget:
•Acquire sandbags from local fire stations (LACO fire station 44 in Duarte)
•Have an evacuation plan ready for family and pets
•Stay away from waterways, channels, and canyons
•Do not attempt to cross flooded areas on foot or in vehicles
For non-emergency questions or information, call Temple Station at (626) 285-7171. We are here for our residents in our reporting districts.
