* WHAT...Avalanche Watch
* WHERE... CAIC Forecast Zones: North San Juan, South San Juan
* WHEN... Very dangerous avalanche conditions are expected Wednesday, December 15
* IMPACTS... Starting Tuesday night a fast-moving storm delivers heavy snowfall and strong winds that will overload the weak snowpack. Widespread dangerous conditions are expected across the southern San Juan Mountains including areas near Wolf Creek Pass, and in the western part of the range near Silverton. Natural avalanches are expected on Wednesday, especially on northerly- facing slopes.
