LOCATION: West Valley Detention Center, 9500 Etiwanda Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga
VICTIM: Gary Allen Victor, 57-years-old of Apple Valley
SUSPECT: N/A
SUMMARY:
On December 2, 2021, an inmate at the West Valley Detention Center, Gary Allen Victor, was transported to the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and later admitted into the ICU for multiple health problems, and COVID-19. His health gradually declined, and on Monday, December 13, 2021, he was pronounced deceased.
Investigators from the Sheriff’s Department’s Specialized Investigation Detail responded to the hospital where they conducted interviews and collected medical records.
Victor was transported to the Coroner’s Division where an autopsy will be performed. This incident is still under investigation and no further information is currently available.
