Threat to Green Bay Preble High School
On 12-14-21 at about 4:30pm, the Green Bay Police Department was notified of a potential threat directed at Preble High School. The content of the threat was discovered as part of a “Snapchat” post.
The investigation was initiated by patrol and shortly after turned over to the detective division. As the investigation went into the night time hours, a suspect was quickly identified, located, and arrested by members of the Green Bay Police Department.
A 14-year-old male was apprehended and turned over to juvenile authorities. He is currently being held in custody. Charges of Terroristic Threats are being referred to the Brown County District Attorney’s Office.
On 12-15-21, after the incident was reasolved, the Green Bay Area Public School District was notified of the potential threat and the outcome of the investigation. All threats are taken seriously and investigated thoroughly by the Green Bay Police Department in conjunction with the Green Bay Area Public School District.
