Carlstadt Celebrates Holidays With Parades
The Borough of Carlstadt will be celebrating the Holiday Season this year with not one, but two parades through the entire town, on back-to-back days.
The first parade will be on Saturday, December 18th and is sponsored by the Carlstadt Fire Department. Join them as they do their annual escort of Santa Clause through our town to see everyone. The parade will begin at 4:00 PM, which will make it better to the holiday lights on the Fire Trucks, on the corner of 10th Street and Berry Avenue and will make its way west, hitting every street, before ending on Garden Street.
On Sunday, December 19th Mayor Zimmermann and the Borough Council once again bring to Carlstadt the Holiday Concert Float. Come out and see a festive Holiday Band as they spread the holiday spirit through music, joined by a cast of holiday characters. The mobile holiday concert will begin on Garden Street at 1:00 PM and move east covering every street before ending on Tenth Street.
So come out and celebrate the holidays. Kris Kringle will be paraded on Saturday evening followed by a mobile Holiday Concert on Sunday Afternoon. And please remember, do your part to help reduce the spread of COVID during this holiday season. Get vaccinated, wear masks when appropriate and try to social distance. Only together can we reduce the spread.
