THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED TORNADO WATCH 565 IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM CST THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN WISCONSIN THIS WATCH INCLUDES 4 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL WISCONSIN MARATHON PORTAGE WAUSHARA WOOD THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ARNOTT, AURORAVILLE, BAKERVILLE, BORTH, MARSHFIELD, PLOVER, SILVER LAKE, STEVENS POINT, WAUSAU, WAUTOMA, AND WISCONSIN RAPIDS.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CST THIS EVENING... ...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AM CST THURSDAY... WHAT...For the Dense Fog Advisory, visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog. For the High Wind Warning, southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected. WHERE...Marathon, Portage, Wood, Manitowoc, Door, Kewaunee, Shawano, Southern Marinette County and Southern Oconto County Counties. WHEN...For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 9 PM CST this evening. For the High Wind Warning, from 9 PM this evening to 9 AM CST Thursday. IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous. Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Some power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution if you must drive.
