Deputies Served 20 Arrest Warrants During a County-Wide Crime Suppression Operation in San Bernardino

SUMMARY: On Saturday, December 11, 2021, between 5:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Central Station, conducted a saturation and proactive patrol in the City of Loma Linda. The purpose of the sweep was to attempt service on multiple arrest warrants for individuals believed to be residing within the city. Deputies also conducted high visibiltiy patrols for the businesses and high-traffic areas within the City of Loma Linda.
In total, deputies completed 20 warrant services. Nine offenders were located and issued citations with new court appearance dates.
Additionally, deputies conducted traffic enforcement and made 12 proactive stops and issued six citations for various infractions.
The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors authorized funds to assist with County-Wide Crime Suppression. The County-Wide Crime Suppression monies show the ongoing collaborative partnership between the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors and the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. The program provides additional funding to the Sheriff's Department to provide law enforcement services related to quality-of-life issues that affect the citizens in the County. The intent of the program is to reduce crime, increase safety, and improve the quality of life for the citizens of San Bernardino County.
