Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a male Hispanic adult.

At approximately 6:52 a.m. Norwalk station deputies responded to the location regarding a man down call. Upon arrival they discovered the unresponsive victim lying on the sidewalk in front of the location. Upon further examination and assistance from paramedics, they discovered he was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are canvassing the area for possible witnesses and video surveillance.

NARRATIVE:  
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are responding to a shooting death investigation. The incident was reported Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at approximately 6:52 a.m., near Lambert Road and First Avenue in unincorporated Whittier.  
 
The male adult victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
