Precautionary boil advisory issued for parts of Walker subdivision 
City staff are currently repairing a small water main break affecting parts of the Walker subdivision.
At this time we are issuing a precautionary Boil Advisory for homes and businesses located on Joy Street, between Commercial and Jil St, Kay Street, between Joy and Walker Dr. and Kirk Street, between Kay and Jil. The advisory is expected to last 24 hours.
During this time, as a precaution, please boil it for 3 minutes before drinking/cooking with it. Currently the water is believed to be safe for bathing and washing.
This advisory is a precautionary measure and will be lifted after water service and quality are fully restored and water quality tests verify the safety of the water supply.
