Friday, December 31, 2021 – New Year’s Eve at Gurdwara
The following partial road closures will take place on Friday, December 31, 2021 from approximately 4:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. on January 1, 2022 near Gurdwara Sahib (300 Gurdwara Road, Fremont)
- Gurdwara Road (between Grau and Mission Blvd.) will be partially closed for the event
- No left turn will be allowed from Gurdwara Road onto Mission Blvd
- No left turn will be allowed from Mission Blvd on to Gurdwara Road
A shuttle will be operating between Gurdwara Sahib and a parking area at 7
th Street in Union City during hours of the event. Please note the consumption or possession of alcohol, meat, or tobacco is not permitted at the site, and head scarves are required on Gurdwara premises. Contact Gurdwara Sahib for additional event information:

Sundays January 2022 (Jan 9, 16, 23, & 30, 2022) – Early Bird Bicycle Race Training in South Fremont
The following road closures will take place on multiple Sundays in January to include January 9, 16, 23, and 30, 2022 from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The bicycle training races will take place on a One-mile loop of City streets, which will be closed to all but local vehicle traffic and controlled access to businesses during the events.
- Gateway Blvd between Bayside Parkway and Lakeview Blvd
- Lakeview Blvd between Gateway Blvd and Bayview Drive
- Bayview Drive between Lakeview Blvd and Bayside Pkwy
- Bayside Pkwy between Gateway Blvd and Bayview Drive
Approximately 200 new and experienced bicycle racers will be taking part in the seven separate multi-lap events each Sunday on the course. Please drive in the direction of race traffic, so as not to meet the bicycles head-on. The first event of the day will start at 8:00 a.m. and the final race will end by 4:45 p.m. Roads are anticipated to be closed to the public from as early as 6:00 a.m. and will reopen by 6:00 p.m. Event contact:
