A power outage has occurred in the City affecting numerous residences and intersections. 
A power outage has occurred in various parts of the City due to equipment failure. According to the SCE website, the power outage is affecting approximately 2421 residences, and the traffic signals are affected at the following intersections:
Atlantic Blvd. / Brightwood St. (flashing red in all directions)
Garfield Ave. / Elmgate St. (completely blacked out).
Just a reminder that when a traffic signal is out or flashing red, drivers are required to treat the intersection like a four-way stop. Please use caution at these locations and pay attention to pedestrians and bicyclists that may be attempting to cross the intersection.
Edison has been notified and responding to make the repairs. It is unknown when the power will be restored.
