11:03 PM: Officer Loiser made contact and arrested a 27-year-old male out of Fremont in the 5000 block of Cedar Ct for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was cited and released.
 
Thursday, December 2, 2021
5:44 PM: Officers responded to a report of a hit and run in the area of Cedar Blvd and Thornton Ave. Officers located the involved subject nearby and ultimately arrested a 24-year old male out of Hayward for hit and run and driving without a license. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
 
Friday, December 3, 2021
8:47 PM: Officer Herrera made contact and arrested a 41-year-old male in the 35000 block of Newark Blvd for an outstanding warrant. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
Eight burglaries to vehicles were investigated throughout the city.
11:43 PM: Community Services Officer Lau investigated a report of a burglary to a vehicle in the 5000 block of Mowry Ave. While checking the area, CSO Lau located 11 backpacks that appear to have been dumped and is working on identifying and contacting the property owners.

6:20 AM: Officer Rivera investigated a burglary that occurred overnight in the 6000 block of Jarvis Ave. Loss was a cash register.
8:02 AM: Officer Taylor investigated two burglaries that occurred overnight in the 39000 block of Cedar Blvd. Loss  was unknown at the time.
11:12 AM: Officers Jackman and Quinonez investigated two burglaries that occurred overnight in the 5000 block of Mowry School Rd. Loss were cash registers.
1:30 PM: Officer Jackman investigated a burglary to a vehicle that occurred overnight in the area of Thornton Ave and Sycamore St. Loss was a navigation device, vehicle registration and miscellaneous items.
3:58 PM: Officer Johnson made contact and arrested a 25-year-old female out of San Francisco in the 2000 block of Newpark Mall Rd for an outstanding warrant. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
6:50 PM: Officers made contact and arrested a 39-year-old male in the 37000 block of Sycamore St for an outstanding warrant. He was booked in Santa Clara County.
9:37 PM: While patrolling the 35000 block of Newark Blvd, Officer Herrera made contact and arrested a 38-year-old male for an outstanding warrant. He was cited and released.
11:19 PM: While responding to a call regarding a speeding vehicle, Officer Riddles conducted a vehicle enforcement stop in the 5000 block of Thornton Ave. Officer Riddles made contact with the driver and while waiting for a cover officer, the vehicle fled the traffic stop at a high rate of speed. Officers are conducting investigative follow up.

3:56 AM: Officers responded to a report of a subject causing a disturbance and making criminal threats the 4000 block of Windermere Dr. Officers developed a tactical plan and approached the location. Officers made contact with persons at the location and learned the responsible subject had fled the area prior to officer arrival. Incident is still under investigation.
4:06 AM: Officer Herrera investigated four burglaries to vehicles that occurred in the 35000 block of Dumbarton Ct.
6:51 AM: Officer Quinonez investigated an attempted vehicle theft that occurred overnight in the 5000 block of Mowry Ave. Loss is a broken window and damage to the vehicle ignition.
7:34 AM: Officer Taylor investigated a burglary that occurred overnight in the 39000 block of Balentine Dr. Loss was a cash register.
1:53 PM: Officer Jackman investigated a burglary to a vehicle that occurred overnight in the 5000 block of Mowry School Rd. Loss was a passport and miscellaneous documents.

5:05 AM: Officer Herrera located a broken glass door in the 35000 block of Newark Blvd. Loss is unknown at this time.
3:40 PM: Officer Taylor investigated a burglary to a vehicle that occurred in the 3000 block of Newpark Mall Rd. Loss was a computer bag.
3:40 PM: Officer Jackman investigated a burglary to a vehicle that occurred in the 3000 block of Newpark Mall Rd. Loss was medical and other equipment.

3:45 PM: Officer Arroyo responded to a report of trespassing in the 7000 block of Thornton Ave. Officer Arroyo made contact and arrested a 29-year old male for trespassing. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
 
Friday, December 10, 2021
1:56 PM: Officers responded to a report of in-progress vandalism in the area of Newark Blvd and Bellhaven Ave. Officer Soto attempted to make contact with a 27-year-old. The subject failed to obey officer’s commands but eventually was taken into custody. The reporting party declined persecution. The subject was ultimately arrested for obstructing a peace officer and was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

2:01 PM: K-9 Officer Smith conducted a traffic enforcement stop in 37000 block of Newark Blvd. Officer Smith made contact and arrested a 46-year-old male out of Pleasanton for outstanding warrants. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
8:05 PM: Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 5000 block of Abington Ct. Officers made contact and arrested a 23-year-old female for trespassing and probation violation. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

5:49 PM: Officer Riddles responded to report of a found purse that contained narcotics in the 200 block of Newpark Mall Rd. Officer Riddles contacted the owner of the property and ultimately arrested a 21-year-old female for possession of a controlled substance without prescription, Possession of a controlled substance, and possession of narcotic controlled substance. She was cited and released.
7:01 AM: Officer Jackman investigated a burglary to a vehicle in the area of 5000 block of Mowry School Rd. Entry was made via window smash. Loss was speakers.
12:06 PM: Officer Garcia investigated a burglary attempt in the 5000 block of Central Ave. A rock was used to shatter the front door. No loss at this time. 
6:03 PM: Officer Torres investigated two burglaries to vehicles that occurred in the 5000 block of Newark Blvd.
7:54 PM: Officer Riddles and Swadener investigated nine auto burglaries that occurred in the 38000 block of Cedar Blvd.
11:34 PM: Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 37000 block of Spruce St. Upon arrival, the subject, a 40-year-old female, fled on foot from officers. After a short foot pursuit, officers made contact with the subject. She was ultimately arrested for being too inebriated to care for herself or others and resisting arrest. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
