SMPD Conducts An Investigation On A Shooting
San Mateo, CA- The San Mateo Police Department is actively investigating a shooting that occurred the evening of Monday December 20, 2021. At approximately 8:06 p.m., SMPD patrol officers responded to the 2600 block of Flores Street on the report of “shots fired” and a collision. Upon arrival, officers located a 27-year-old male who told SMPD officers that someone shot at him. SMPD began an investigation and learned the shooting was not a random act. SMPD is working vigorously to bring all responsible individuals to justice.
