Winter Weather Advisory until 09:00PM Sunday

* WHAT...Freezing rain expected. Ice accumulations of a trace up to one tenth of an inch.

* WHERE...Anchorage.

* WHEN...From 9 AM this morning to 9 PM AKST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel may be difficult. Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Patchy light freezing rain will develop this morning. However, freezing rain is most likely in the mid to late afternoon as steadier precipitation moves into the area. Temperatures will likely warm above freezing for parts of Anchorage as a south wind develops. The typically colder areas of east Anchorage up to Eagle River and the Glenn Highway corridor are the most likely spots for freezing rain.
