Winter Weather Advisory until 12:00PM

* WHAT...Snow and freezing rain occurring. Plan on very difficult travel conditions. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches, are expected. Additional ice accumulation of less than one tenth of an inch expected. The freezing rain will occur along the Alaska Highway, and the the heaviest snow amounts will be north of the Alaska Highway.

* WHERE...Upper Tanana Valley and the Fortymile Country.

* WHEN...Until noon today.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will cause areas of blowing and drifting snow. The freezing rain will occur along the Alaska Highway, with the heaviest snow amounts north of the Alaska Highway. Winds, snow and freezing rain will end this afternoon and conditions will improve then.

* AFFECTED AREAS: UPPER TANANA VALLEY AND THE FORTYMILE COUNTRY
