DETAILS:   On Saturday October 2, 2021 at 9:29 am, Patrol & Traffic Units were detailed to US Route 1 North at Carnegie Center Boulevard  Windsor on a report of a Serious Motor Vehicle Crash.  The collision resulted in numerous injuries.

The WWPD's Traffic Unit, Detective Bureau, & Administration arrived on scene and the initial investigation revealed the following:  a white box truck on U.S. Route 1 North in West Windsor Township. The white box truck struck 3 vehicles as they were stopped at the red light at the Carnegie Center Blvd. intersection. After the collision, the driver of the white box truck fled the scene on foot while abandoning his front seat passenger in his vehicle, (an 18 YOA) who sustained a severe injury to his right arm.  The passenger was transported to Capital Health Fuld campus and then flown to UPenn medical center for emergency surgery in an attempt to save severely injured limb. The driver of the first vehicle he struck sustained injuries to his head, neck, back and rib area. The passenger in that same vehicle, sustained multiple breaks to his left arm which required surgery and a dislocated left shoulder.  The Lawrence Township and Robbinsville K-9 unit as well as the West Windsor Drone unit responded to the scene to assist with the extensive search for the driver of the box truck. The search was met with negative results.

Further investigation reveleaed that the driver was believed to be Guadalupe Garcia-Guzman, an employee of Back in a Flash Transport, who was using a New Brunswick, NJ address.  Triple G is believed to be an undocumented person, not legally in the US, and without a New Jersey issued Drivers License.  The collision itself was a result of Triple G's inattention and failure to recognize stopped traffic.  Triple G left his badly injured comrade in the wreckage and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The WWPD is actively requesting anyone with pertinent information into the collision or Triple G's current whereabouts to please call our Non-Emergency line at (609) 799-1222, our Anonymous Tipline at (609) 799-0452, emall our Lead Traffic Investigator Traffic Officer Kyle Brown at [email protected] or respond to this Nixle by Reply with TIP.  The investigation has been challenging, arduous, extensive.  Our ultimate goal is to bring Guadalupe Garcia-Guzman to justice to answer for what he's responsible for doing.  Triple G's whereabouts today are unknown, however, several arrest warrants have been issued for him in regard to this incident.   Chief Garofalo would like to commend all of our staff who handled this incident and specifically those within the Traffic Unit (Lead Investigator Brown) for their tireless efforts in this case.  Although it will not be over until Triple G answers up for his actions.
