Ontario, CA – The Ontario Police Department has arrested suspect Ulices Lopez, who is believed to be responsible for a homicide that occurred in the 1100 E block of Highland Ct on December 24, 2021.
On December 24, 2021, at approximately 10:12 PM, Lopez was involved in a verbal argument with the victim’s stepfather during a Christmas gathering. During the verbal altercation, the victim was shot and killed with a handgun. The victim, Stephanie Gamez, a 20-year-old resident of Covina, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Lopez, a 23-year-old male from Covina, was arrested at the Ontario Police Department without incident on December 27, 2021. Lopez has been booked at West Valley Detention Center on the charge of murder.
