* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches.

* WHERE...North of Gakona, including Paxson, Chistochina and Slana.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 4 AM AKST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow and highest snow accumulation will be close to the Alaska Range. This includes the Richardson Highway near Paxson and the Tok Cutoff from Chistochina to Mentasta Lake.

* AFFECTED AREAS: COPPER RIVER BASIN
