Crime Blotter for the Week of December 19 - December 25, 2021
Burglary (Vehicle):
2800 block of Hacienda Drive. A male and female suspect were seen via surveillance video on 12/20/21 at 3:00 am walking in the area using flashlights to signal an unknown person awaiting in a nearby vehicle. The male shatters the rear passenger window to the victims’ vehicle and removes luggage from the rear seat. Both the female and male enter the awaiting vehicle and flee the area. Surveillance video available.
Grand Theft Vehicle:
1900 block of Royal Oaks Drive. Between 12/19/21 9:00 pm and 12/20/21 12:40 am suspect(s) unknown stole the victims blue 1997 Honda CRV that was parked in front of his residence. Vehicle outstanding
December 21, 2021
Burglary (Commercial):
1850 Evergreen Street (Cable Source). Between 12/20/21 5:20 pm and 12/21/21 8:00 am suspect(s) unknown entered the location through an unlocked rear door. Suspect(s) ransacked multiple desks and stole unknown items. No surveillance video.
Grand theft:
1470 Mountain Avenue (Best Buy). A male black in his 20’s wearing a purple and yellow Lakers hat, black sweater with the words Adidas written on it, black pants entered the location on 12/21/20 at 1:40 pm and walked directly to the computer display and began disabling the security alarms to two Apple Macbook pro’s. The suspect proceeded to walk out the front door without attempting to pay for the items. Suspect fled the area north in the parking lot and out of view. Loss was approximately $4,000. Video surveillance available.
December 22, 2021
Grand theft:
1470 Mountain Avenue (Best Buy). Two male black’s in there 20’s entered the location on 12/22/21 at 5:57 pm and walked directly to the Apple display table and began disabling the security alarms to Ipad’s and Iphones. Suspect 1 was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a red rectangle on it with the word “Paris” written in black, and blue jeans. Suspect 2 was wearing a multi colored (red/white/blue) hooded sweatshirt with the word “Nation” written across the chest, dark colored pants and black shoes. The suspect’s proceeded to walk out the front door with several devices without attempting to pay for the items. Suspects fled the area north in the parking lot and entered an awaiting white 4 door sedan, possibly a Toyota or Hyundai. Video surveillance available. Loss was approximately $2,800 and damages of $1,100.

Burglary (Vehicle):
1600 Mountain Avenue (Walmart). On 12/23/21 between 8:00 pm and 8:20 pm suspect(s) unknown shattered the victims rear driver’s side window to his 2010 Honda civic and stole an apple watch he had in the trunk. Loss was approximately $470 and $250 in damages. No video surveillance where victims vehicle was parked.
December 24, 2021
Domestic Assault:
2200 block of Mountain Avenue. The victim stated while she was at home on 12/24/21 at 1:00 pm, her ex-boyfriend arrived to pick up a cell phone he had purchased for her. Upon arrival, the suspect pushed the victim into the house and began to assault her. The suspect pushed the victim into the kitchen where he grabbed a knife and put it to her throat and told her “I can kill you”. The suspect continued to assault her and forced her to enter his vehicle and drive with him to his residence. While driving to his residence the suspect continued to assault her. At some point on the way to his residence, she was able to unlock the door and run away and entered the vehicle of some unknown females who drove her to Azusa Police station.
