ROBBERY SUSPECTS ARRESTED

On December 13 and December 20, two suspects entered the Burger King restaurant, located at 1107 Cochrane Road, and demanded money. The employees complied with the suspects and provided them with cash from the registers. The suspects fled on foot; however, they were not immediately located. The Morgan Hill Police Department conducted a thorough investigation and identified Pedro Aragon (23 years old) and Jacob Saldivar (23 years old), both from Morgan Hill, as the primary suspects in both robberies.
On December 21, Aragon and Saldivar were located in Morgan Hill and taken into custody without incident. During a subsequent search of Aragon’s residence, a loaded AR-15 rifle, large capacity magazines as well numerous rounds of ammunition were seized.
Aragon was arrested on charges of P.C. 211 – Robbery; P.C. 459 – Burglary; P.C. 182 – Conspiracy; P.C. 1203.2 – Probation violation; P.C. 29800(a) – Unlawful possession of firearms by convicted felon; P.C. 30605(a) – Unlawful possession of an assault weapon and P.C. 30305(a) – Unlawful possession of ammunition by prohibited person and P.C. 32310 – Possession of large capacity magazine.
Saldivar was arrested on charges of P.C. 211 – Robbery; P.C. 459 – Burglary; P.C. 182 – Conspiracy and P.C. 1203.2 – Probation violation. Both Aragon and Saldivar were transported to the Santa Clara County Main Jail and booked into their custody.
