Rain expected in Malibu all day Wed, 12/29 total 1-1.5 in. with low intensity.
NWS forecasts a storm will bring rain to Malibu Wednesday morning (12/29) through most of the day, possibly extending into Thursday. The rainfall total is expected to be 1 - 1.5 in, with very low rain intensities of less than 0.1 in per hour. Beware of hazardous driving conditions due to potential for water, mud, rocks and debris in the road, and power and traffic signal outages.

Never approach or touch downed power lines - stay back, warn others and call 911.

Sandbags are available at Los Angeles County Fire Stations. Call fire stations to find out if filled sandbags and sand are available – find station phone numbers: https://locator.lacounty.gov/fire.
