Several Suspects Arrested After Search Warrant is Served at a Home in Chino

INCIDENT: Operating a Drug House, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Possession of Narcotics, Warrant Arrests
LOCATION: 13000 block of Roswell Avenue, Chino
SUSPECT(S): Ralph Ruiz, 59-year-old resident of Chino
Byron Taylor, 55-year-old resident of Chino
Melissa Garippo, 30-year-old resident of Chino
Raul Meraz, 54-year-old resident of Chino
Desiree Perchez, 44-year-old resident of San Bernardino
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at 8:59 a.m., deputies and detectives from the Chino Hills Police/Sheriff's Station served a search warrant in the 13000 block of Roswell Avenue in the unincorporated area of Chino. During the search warrant, deputies detained several subjects and recovered evidence.
Ralph Ruiz was arrested for operating a drug house, Byron Taylor was arrested for possession of a stolen firearm, Melissa Garippo was arrested for possession of illegal narcotics. Desiree Perchez and Raul Meraz were arrested for outstanding warrants.
Taylor and Ruiz were transported and booked at the West Valley Detention Center for booking. Garippo, Perchez, and Meraz were cited and released at the scene.
