INCIDENT: PC 288(a) – Lewd and Lascivious Acts with a Child
LOCATION: 9300 block of Cedar Drive, Forest Falls, California, 92339
SUSPECT(S): James Robinson Jr., age 63 of Mira Loma, California
VICTIM(S): Juvenile, age 12 of Macomb, Michigan
SUMMARY: On Monday, November 29, 2021, Deputy Derek Brandt investigated an allegation of sexual molestation to a 12-year-old child. The victim was visiting at a residence in the 9300 block of Cedar Drive in Forest Falls in July of 2019.
Deputy Brandt identified James Robinson Jr. as the suspect, a retired Supervised Visitation Monitor. Detective Daniel Berumen assisted with the investigation and spoke to Robinson and a possible witness. Detective Berumen discovered additional evidence during his interviews and subsequently authored a search warrant for Robinson's cellular phone.
On Tuesday, December 28, 2021, Robinson was arrested for PC 288(a) -Lewd and Lascivious Acts with a Child. Robinson was booked into the West Valley Detention Center with a $250,000 bail.
Investigators believe there may be addtional victims and are releasing Robinson's photo.
