Osceola predicted to see 4 plus inches of snow Friday night into Saturday with high winds.

An impactful winter storm remains on track to affect a good portion of the region Friday night into Saturday, including a decent shot at some widespread 4+ inch snowfall amounts. Southern Iowa remains the most likely to see 4+ inches of snowfall, with local amounts in excess of 6 inches. As with most winter systems, travel will be hazardous at times, especially on roadways that become quickly snow covered and compacted. Please exercise appropriate caution when traveling this weekend.
