* WHERE...CAIC Forecast Zones: North San Juan and South San Juan Mountains Forecast zones
* WHEN...Beginning Friday December 31 at 8:00AM. Expires Sunday January 2 at 8:00AM.
* IMPACTS...Very dangerous avalanche conditions exist in the mountains. Heavy snow and strong winds will result in natural avalanches. Human triggered avalanches are very likely. Avalanches can break wide and run further than you might expect. You can trigger avalanches from below or from a distance.
* AFFECTED AREAS: UNCOMPAHGRE PLATEAU/DALLAS DIVIDE ... NORTHWESTERN SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS ... SOUTHWEST SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS ... LA GARITA MOUNTAINS ABOVE 10000 FT ... EASTERN SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS ABOVE 10000 FT
