* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Lawrence County in eastern Arkansas... Randolph County in eastern Arkansas... Northwestern Independence County in north central Arkansas... Southern Izard County in north central Arkansas... Sharp County in north central Arkansas... Stone County in north central Arkansas... Northeastern Van Buren County in north central Arkansas...

* Until 450 AM CST.

* At 1254 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area over the next few hours. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Batesville, Pocahontas, Mountain View, Melbourne, Ash Flat, Black Rock, Cave City, Highland in Sharp County, Imboden, Ravenden, Reyno, Cushman, Maynard, Mount Pleasant, Biggers, Sidney, Ravenden Springs, Stella, Gid and Croker.
