2nd Annual First Responders' Toy Giveaway December 19,2021 On Saturday, December 19, 2021 LASD personnel had the honor of participating alongside LAPD,LAFD, and CHP in the 2nd Annual First Responders' Drive-Thru Holiday Toy Giveaway at Dodger Stadium. Seeing the smiles on the children's faces was priceless!  VIEW VIDEO A Collaborative Effort Brings a Little Joy During the Holidays    December 17, 2021 On Friday December 17, 2021 Sheriff Villanueva presented a care package donation consisting of food, clothing, and toys to the Armenia Fund. The Armenia Fund is the largest Armenian-American grassroots, non-membership charity in the United States. The donations were shipped to families in need in Armenia.  VIEW VIDEO       Residents from Casa TELACU Senior Living Facility Receive a Special Visit  December 22, 2021 Sheriff Villanueva along with ELA Station personnel dropped by Casa TELACU to spread a little holiday cheer. Casa TELACU is a low-income apartment community for dependent adults located in East Los Angeles.   SEE PICTURES LASD and the LASD Community Advisory Council Collaborate for a Department-Wide Toy Drive December 16, 2021  On Thursday December 16, 2021 LASD collaborated with LASD Community Advisory Council and hosted a department-wide holiday toy drive which also included patrol stations, custody facilities, and courthouses. New toys were donated to the children residing at the the Whole Child Homeless Shelter.  VIEW VIDEO
